Happy new-day to all. If you had a rough weekend, remember- there is an “end” in “weekend” for a reason. Shake it off because it’s a new week & you can’t be too weak. Let’s go!

I’m hyped to finally be sharing my dose of tea for the site today – although to be honest, coming from me, it’s more like pouring up a forty. Yes- it gets that real. Now for a swig:

Ladies. Gentlemen.

Stop it.

“Haterism” is not a real religion. It doesn’t exist. People only wish that they were hated on so that in turn, they may love themselves.

Not only is being over the age of 14 and proclaiming you have haters a poor way of thinking, but it’s also a bit corny. It goes back to suffering from “delusions of grandeur”.

It’s unfortunate how often we tend to validate ourselves through the standards of others. No one should validate who you are BUT you. In life’s race, you should only be up against yourself. Just like a race in real life, exerting energy by looking at the person right next to you or behind you will only throw off your balance, ultimately costing you the win.

It’s easier said than done, but applying half the energy you apply to poking around in the next person’s life, to that of your own, has great rewards. Self-righteousness is a disease, and humility is the cure. Humble yourself and imagine that no one is worried about you, because most likely, they’re not. The true measure of a man or woman comes from what we WILL do when NO one is looking.

Me personally? I’ve never wanted what anyone else has. Because most times what they have ain’t got crap on what I want. My dreams are bigger than half-way schemes.

And that’s not to say that my standards are “high”, but that’s just to reassure you that my standards are MY own. And I respect the next person who lives and works in accordance to anything that is TRUE to themselves. Male or female, real recognize real, and I knock very few hustles on this end.

So in short:

Invest more in your humility. And less in your own hype.

Sincerely,

SOJO
